The device emits a range of light waves that are then tuned and targeted at hemoglobin (the red blood cells) or melanin (the brown pigment in freckles and age spots). The light beam passes through the skin and is absorbed by either hemoglobin or melanin resulting in damage to the vessel wall or fragmenting of melanin pigment. These tiny vessels and the melanin pigment are then absorbed by the body, rendering them less visible.
Our state of the art Hair Removal System uses a laser beam to target the pigmented hair follicle. The Laser Hair Removal method works by killing the follicle and prevents re-growth. Each treatment is between 4-6 weeks apart for the hair growth cycles. Though the targeted follicle will die away, others will grow until the have been treated. This procedure is virtually pain free with our chiller system.
With each pulse the laser energy is directed at the tattooed area. This energy passes harmlessly through the outer layer of the skin and targets the tattoo ink directly. The ink is shattered into tiny micro-particles which, over a period of six to eight weeks, are broken down and absorbed by your body, leaving no damage to the surrounding tissue.
A laser’s heat damages a vein, which makes scar tissue form. The scar tissue closes the vein. The closed vein loses its source of blood and dies. The laser treatment is on the outside of the skin’s surface, and usually takes multiple treatments scheduled six weeks apart.
